Lawrence is a lifelong Carmel-by-the-Sea resident and an unparalleled expert in the local area. His ability to find the perfect property and lead a smooth real estate sale for his clients stems from knowing every corner of Monterey County and utilizing experience in business and video marketing that few other Realtors can rival.

After attending Santa Catalina Lower School and Carmel Unified School districts in his youth, Lawrence started out in the hospitality industry valeting cars at The Pebble Beach Lodge. It was there he learned that there is no substitute for integrity and tenacity. Rising through the ranks at Pebble Beach Company, he became producer of their special events video projects, most notably the 2000 U.S. Open of Golf Video for Arnold Palmer’s opening ceremony. Over the course of a 25-plus year career he would go on to film hundreds of network news stories and direct and produce two major movies, “Diablo” and “The Forger” for international and theatrical distribution. At the same time, he was actively conducting real estate investments both in the United States and Canada, and learning the ins-and-outs of high-end real estate video marketing.

Lawrence’s executive experience and high-end relationships come from his background as a successful movie director and video producer, but it is his appreciation and love for the local area that defines him. A true Carmel kid, growing up amongst the pines and white sandy beaches of Carmel and Pebble Beach, Lawrence always loved and valued the Monterey Peninsula as one of the best places to live on the planet. Following a decade in Los Angeles, Lawrence decided to return to his roots and call Carmel-by-the- Sea his forever home.

When Lawrence is not working, you can find him hiking the hills
of Big Sur or spending quality time walking with his mother and dog on Carmel Beach. Lawrence is the online founder of “The Carmel Crowd,” a group focused on connecting the artists in our community to spread empathy and support for the arts. He remains highly connected and active in the film industry maintaining relationships with top filmmakers and artists around the world.

As a philanthropist, he is a firm believer in preserving the culture and community of Carmel-by-the-Sea. He lives by the ethic that living in a healthy, thriving and connected community is the best investment one can make in their life.
