Before real estate, Jay has had a varied background including as a sportsman winning the National Championship in India in sailing. He worked 12 years in Hi-tech at IBM and Splunk, followed by 10 years as an entrepreneur with a coaching business. He holds a Masters in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas At Austin, a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from India and a diploma in Computer Science.
Jay's community engagements including hosting the Peace in the Park Festival in San Francisco for 5 years, Wise Leaders retreats and Youth Peace retreats in Marin County California. He is a fellow of Leadership Mountain View. His TEDx Talk titled 'Being Before Doing' reflects his commitment to self awareness.
