Cal Vink was born and raised in the Central Valley, but always dreamed of living near the ocean. After graduating from high school and attending college for Business Administration, Cal began working in sales. Once he had acquired some experience in the sales space, he secured a position with an alternative medicine company in Santa Cruz, which finally got him seaside. He helped them open their very first storefront, and went on to represent the company all across the state of California. 

Each time he came back home to Santa Cruz, he fell more and more in love with the community. He started joining local beach cleanups and projects that preserved the beautiful ecosystems. Propelled by the love for his new home and coupled with his background in sales, Cal naturally set his sights on real estate. 

He was in the process of obtaining his CA Real Estate license when he came across Strock Real Estate. With his background in sales and Real Estate License nearly in hand, Cal was a natural fit as an Inside Sales Agent (ISA). He worked as an ISA for a year, learning real estate from the ground up. He spent everyday in the office talking to clients, learning from the Strock agents, and being mentored by Ben Strock. After a year of building his experience, Cal was ready to transition from ISA to Realtor.

As an agent, Cal plans to go above and beyond for his clients, ensuring that he sets them up for success. His goal is to build strong, lifelong relationships with his clients; he aims to be much more than an agent and strives to be a positive light in our community. 

Outside of work, he loves traveling abroad, camping, and taking his dog on walks to the beach that drew him to Santa Cruz. Cal plans on investing in the community as often as he can, and looks forward to every opportunity to make dreams come true!
