Academically, Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction and Honors in Psychology from Stanford University, and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the Duke University School of Medicine. She made invaluable contributions in Occupational Health, Rehab, Chronic Pain, Labor and Management Partnership and Leadership in San Jose , Northern and Southern California. Kim led her team to #1 in the Region in Service, Finance Efficiency, Quality, Compliance, Safety, and Technology. In everything she does, Kim accepts nothing less than excellence.

After 22 years of dedicated service, individualized care, successful negotiations and inspired teaching, Kim earned early retirement. But she remained committed to making a positive impact on people's lives. Kim's venture into real estate was based on her experience of homeownership as a vital component of a healthy, happy, and hopeful life. With Rick Bernard, she founded O'Neill Group at Compass San Jose - Willow Glen.
