Alan Scearce is a District Manager with Coldwell Banker Realty, leading brokerage operations and agent development across California’s premier coastal markets. He is responsible for the strategic leadership, growth, and performance of Coldwell Banker Realty’s Monterey Bay Region, with direct oversight of offices serving Monterey County, with a particular focus on the Monterey Peninsula communities of Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Seaside, Marina, and Carmel Valley.
With more than 35 years of senior leadership experience in the residential real estate industry, Alan has held executive and sales management roles across Washington, Oregon, Northern California, and Northern Nevada. Over the course of his career, he has had management responsibility for more than 325 real estate offices and over 10,000 real estate professionals, guiding organizations through market cycles, brand transitions, mergers, and periods of sustained growth.
Alan entered the real estate industry in 1988 and has served continuously in senior leadership roles spanning brokerage operations, sales management, marketing, recruiting, training, and technology integration. He has held an active California real estate license since 2015 giving him direct production experience that informs his leadership and coaching approach.
Prior to his current role, Alan served as Regional Vice President for Coldwell Banker Realty, overseeing multiple major California regions including the San Francisco Peninsula, Silicon Valley, Monterey Bay, and Sacramento. Under his leadership, his region achieved national recognition, ranking as the #1 Coldwell Banker Realty region in the nation based on profitability, profitability growth, and productive agent recruiting.
