John vividly remembers his first encounters with Pebble Beach’s 17-Mile Drive, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Big Sur, and the eclectic neighboring communities. Shortly thereafter, the Monterey Peninsula became home. Prior to entering real estate, John enjoyed a successful career as a professional caddie at Pebble Beach Resorts, collaborating with business leaders, celebrities, and professional athletes across countless rounds of golf along one of the world’s most iconic coastlines.
A passionate supporter of his community, John proudly advocates for Youth on Course, a local nonprofit organization providing life-changing opportunities through golf. Since 2017, he has partnered with the organization to raise awareness and give back to a sport that has profoundly shaped his life. In 2019, John was honored as “Man of the Year” after winning a 10-week philanthropic competition benefiting Blood Cancer United’s Monterey Bay chapter. His fundraising efforts resulted in two personalized research portfolios dedicated to the individuals who inspired his work. Today, John remains actively involved by serving on the organization’s local Leadership Committee.
John graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and married his college sweetheart, Teresa. Together, they enjoy making memories with their two children and experiencing all the beauty the Monterey Peninsula has to offer. John looks forward to meeting new clients and assisting with their real estate needs as part of Sotheby’s International Realty.
