I believe in continual education, have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science – Business concentration, a Minor in Spanish, and an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts. I am an ex-real estate appraiser. I am a Certified Meditation and Compassion Teacher and Founder of OurMettaverse.org.
A native Californian, I grew up in the Belmont and Woodside areas and have most recently resided in Los Altos Hills and Mountain View. I have taught elementary school in both the Los Altos and Milpitas School Districts. I am a certified Mindful Meditation teacher.
My interests include studying and teaching compassion; worldwide big wave surf photography; personal watercraft for safety and rescue (jet skis); learning; flying (ex-private pilot); all things ocean; environmental conservation; following the stock market; technology; kayaking; traveling; and a continual practice to be the best person I can be for others.
I have spent time being a bilingual Domestic Violence Counselor. I volunteer at the Mountain View Senior Center and Graham Middle School. I support the following organizations: Local food banks; Goodwill; American Heart Association: Nourishing Neighbors; Mountain View High School Choir; Mountain View Education Foundation; FPMT; Leukemia and Lymphoma Society; Operation Contagious Generosity and more.
