I entered the real estate industry in 1981- fresh out of college with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz. Selling real estate became the perfect place to match my enjoyment of working with people, my constant quest for knowledge and my love for the community. Over the years I discovered how to turn what can sometimes be a very stressful and frustrating experience into something very enjoyable and rewarding. What do I value? I have a gift for bringing people and ideas together in a "win-win" scenario. I am a good listener, a skilled negotiator and a creative problem-solver. I am consistently recognized as one of the top Sales Associates for David Lyng Real Estate and continue to be ranked in the top 20 of all agents Countrywide. I have been a State Director for the California Association of Realtors, a Director for the Santa Cruz Association of Realtors, served on the MLS/SURG Committee and led the Thursday Marketing meetings for the Association. I was a Board member with Big Brothers Big Sisters for 10-years, currently serve on the Board for Think Local First, and volunteer and contribute to various organizations including the Homeless Garden Project, Santa Cruz Volunteer Center and Santa Cruz Community Foundation. In 2013 I was awarded the "Community Service Award" by the Santa Cruz Association of Realtors. I enjoy photographys, gardening, music, Giants baseball, grandma duties and home remodeling.
